Inputs are set on the Simulator page. This page reads the current scenario; the scenario buttons above switch presets here too.

Does the core thesis hold? The book's claims, tested against the model

Each claim is taken from the Satyug core thesis (16 October 2026), the Proposed National Sentencing Policy (16 October 2026) and the perjury research paper (v5.3). The middle column is computed live by the same model the Simulator runs, from the standard scenarios, not from the settings you have on screen. A claim "holds" when the model reproduces its direction and order of magnitude; the conditions column says what it depends on.

Are the book's levers covered?

The twelve reforms of the two-phase plan, and the further measures in the research paper and the sentencing policy, against what the model does with each.

Statutes and the draft instrument

Every section number on these pages links to the official text on India Code. The Guidelines are a draft instrument in this project; its rules are summarised below.

Rules of the Sentencing Guidelines, 2026 used by the model

The 75 policy levers, with status and where the model uses each

Priority 0 is the minimum package that must operate together. Status follows the amendment schedule: existing proposal, extended, new, or an Indian-context safeguard. The last two columns say whether the simulator models the item and what it is set to in the current scenario.
